John Lewis, Jr. is a Partner with the law firm Lawrence & Bundy, LLC, which has offices in Atlanta and Washington, D.C. Prior to his return to private law practice, he held roles of increasing responsibility in a 14-year career with The Coca-Cola Company as the company’s global head of diversity and workplace fairness, senior managing compliance and global anti-bribery counsel and global head of litigation. Prior to joining Coca-Cola, John practiced in Washington, D.C. in the U.S. Justice Department and Kansas City, Missouri, where he maintained an active civil trial practice, was a federal court-appointed bankruptcy trustee and served as a court-appointed disciplinary hearing officer where he heard and rendered disciplinary findings against Missouri licensed attorneys facing bar complaints. John served for five years as a member of the Atlanta Board of Ethics, including three years as its Chair. He also served as Vice Chair of the Board of The Coca-Cola Company Family Federal Credit Union. John currently serves on the board of the National Black MBA Association and as a board trustee for the Atlanta Botanical Garden. John earned a B.A., with honors, in Economics from Morehouse College and a Law Degree from The George Washington University National Law Center.
